Join our principal musician and violinist Sally McLain, Jerome Gordon, and Ben Wensel of the quartet to deconstruct a Boccherini trio that is performed in Diane’s ballet Time Has Come. Audience participants will then create the three instruments of music in three movement groups. (Audience members are encouraged to come ready to create and move!). A reception to celebrate our new dance follows. |

Get ready to delve into the captivating history of our Dancer and Principal Rehearsal Director, Patric Palkens. From his formative training days to commanding the stage in principal and soloist roles with renowned companies, his story promises to captivate and inspire.
After immersing ourselves in Patric‘s journey, it’s time to move! Lace up your sneakers (all willing) and participate in an interactive workshop. Explore the nuances of classical and contemporary partnering techniques while unraveling the intricate language of nonverbal communication amongst dancers.
Cap off the evening with an exclusive premiere screening of two dance film shorts! First up, Dancers Feet, starring Patric, Fuki, Sophie, and all six of their mesmerizing feet. Then, witness the behind-the-scenes magic in The Making of Slam! This documentary-style piece offers a glimpse into last season’s hit ballet, featuring our entire company alongside slam poets.
Afterward, Join Patric and Diane for a glass of wine and engaging discussion, where you can further explore the evening’s revelations and share your own reflections.
