Intimate. Unfiltered. Inspired. Witness the making of an extraordinary season. With live music by Chamber Dance Project’s resident string quartet and pianist Sophie Kim Cook.
Rehearsal excerpts will feature the second movement of Murmur by guest choreographer William Moore, currently in development, alongside Berceuse, performed by a newly cast couple. Berceuse will unfold across multiple musical arrangements, from full string quartet to an intimate cello and piano version created for the gala.
This is a rare opportunity to see how live music and movement evolve in dialogue, before the curtain rises.
Following the rehearsal, join us for a ticketed reception with the artists at Cactus Cantina (3300 Wisconsin Ave NW) and engage in conversation with the artists, gaining insight into their work and the collaborative process.
