Our plan for our June Season, New Works 2020, has changed, but it has also opened new doors. We look at this moment as an opportunity for Chamber Dance Project to spread our passion and share art with our audiences in powerful new ways. We don’t know exactly what our season will look like this summer, but we have some ideas…
We will go on to finish the new works we started and create new ones. We will share them with you in every way possible: virtually from the rehearsal studio, in small private rehearsals, and in performances either in the theatre or outdoors. We are creatively resilient and nimble – we have pivoted to what that beyond can be and are planning for it – for our artists, for our community, for you.
We are determined to share art in exciting new ways, and we ask for you to follow us into the beyond. Starting today, we are launching our Giving Tuesday Now campaign from now until May 5th. Thanks to the gracious support of one of our patrons, every donation will be matched up to $10,000. The money raised will help us fill the gap and bring our audiences an amazing experience across platforms.
Since Giving Tuesday coincides with Cinco de Mayo, we thought it would be fun to track our progress in a margarita glass. Share a toast with us on May 5th during our virtual chat with Grace-Anne Powers!
